“I Remember”: Shoshana Jedwab’s New York Debut CD Release Concert

Join percussionist-turned-composer-and-singer Shoshana Jedwab and her band for a heart-opening and hip-shaking concert following Havdalah. Shoshana will sing rocking melodies and profound chants from her debut devotional world music album, I Remember. The songs of I Remember are “vibrant, nourishing, transformative, new, global Jewish music.” Chant, dance, pray and play with Shoshana Jedwab and guest artists Kirtan Rabbi Andrew Hahn, Ali Shechter and Radharani Renee Finkelstein.

Shoshana Jedwab is a singer/songwriter, percussionist, and prize-winning Jewish Studies educator. For over a quarter of a century, she has been a force of nature facilitating celebration and rhythmic ecstatic meditation. Through her authentic voice, beat-possessed hands, traditional scholarship, humor and original song recordings (I Remember), Shoshana Jedwab gives us an exquisite taste of ultimate being. Shoshana Jedwab is a drummer for Romemu, leads the JCC Drum Circle, and is the Jewish Life Coordinator at the A.J. Heschel Middle School.
